I first met Luis and Arly when they came over to the UK to celebrate my sister's marriage to Carlos DeJesus, who is also on the committee for Global CDH. I was devastated to hear that Luis and Arly's beautiful baby daughter was born with CDH and I immediately wanted to do something to help.

This May I am running a 10K Race in Bristol, England and I am hoping to raise money for this worthwhile cause. I am not a 'natural' runner as such, so I am having to put in a lot of miles worth of training in order to get ready for the run! This means I am running most days as part of my training and my goal is to complete the race in under an hour.

I would really appreciate any donation you can spare, no matter how big or small, to help support Luis, Arly and Isabela and all the other families out there who are victims of CDH. I am in awe of the strength and dedication I have seen in Luis and Arly and would like to raise as much money as I can to support them and this wonderful charity.
