Global CDH, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a grassroots initiative incorporated in New Jersey on May 18, 2008. Our aim is to assist families that will experience the financial and psychological challenges associated with CDH before, during, and after birth.
Part of our aura is to encourage parents and family members to positively transform any negative connotation towards a positive one by, for example, being very engaged in the child’s prenatal developments.
The passion behind Global CDH was developed following the at-birth right-sided CDH diagnosis of the founders’ daughter. Furthermore, the motivation is to assist families that will experience or are experiencing the financial and psychological challenges associated with CDH; prior, during, and after birth.
This concept was established during the six-month involuntary stay within three professional hospitals: Hospital of Hackensack, NJ; Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center in New York City; and PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital located in New Brunswick, NJ.
